G-WADE

G-Wade. Born in Washington, D.C., now residing in Atlanta, GA. His first experience in acting and music started in elementary school, where he performed in several school plays, sang in the "Glee Club" and took piano lessons. Although G-Wade enjoyed different styles of music, his interest in rap music gave him a sense of release enabling him to express himself, his life as he knew it, through music. He spent time in studios laying tracks with hard driven urban beats laced with funky bass lines and cut throat lyrics - that became his signature.

G-Wade could no longer dispute the fact that God was calling him to submit his total-self, his lifestyle, his talents and his gifts-namely his music. Being obedient, G-Wade heeded to the voice of God and switched from secular rap to gospel rap. He has been featured with the likes of; Street Sweepers, Jenelle, Too Biz, K-Drama, Rock Soul Compilation, Rap Fest Compilation, MDD, and RECREATION… Anatomy of the Remix Compilation and a number of mixtapes. He's currently in production on his solo debut entitled, He's Still #1.G-Wade also wrote, produced, directed, and starred in two gospel stage plays, "Calling My Name" and "The Hit" which featured the title song, "The Hit."

Along with his music, stage and film & television credits, G-Wade founded and serves as President of Flava 4 The Savior Ministries, Inc. - the umbrella company to:

· I Shine - U Shine Foundation (music scholarship program)

He also volunteers his time and donates to charitable organizations such as: American Red Cross, Feed The Children, Habitat for Humanity, Department of Human Services Holiday Sharing Program and charity fun runs.

"I shine - U shine" is his motto. G-Wade believes in not leaving anyone who is with him behind and will support anyone who has the drive and ambition to succeed. He has been privileged to have been in the background, learning and gaining experience, which has helped him to reshape and to redefine what his true potentials are and he is more than willing to share what he has learned with others. With his constant desire to cause people to move forward and to believe in what they are doing, he presses on. He does realize, however, that the hardships of ministry can be humbling, but he accepts the humility with the graciousness of any "true" Christian.
